Why Pokemon:
I choose to do Pokemon , because me and my two wonderful (when they not being bad)
kids love watching Pokemon together....And because Nintendo refuses to make a fully
graphical 3d game of pokemon that is true to the Gameboy games....They have the ability,
they have the models (Pokemon Stadium), they just don't have the desire. I am not
knocking Nintendo though, I have the utter most respect for them and their creations.
If you are reading this Nintendo, I would love making games for your systems. Heh.
I also choose it as a challenge, so many different things to model and incorporate.
I know they need some polish, but I spent a good deal of time on the modelling of the
creatures and world.
This is chapter 1 of hopefully many more chapters in the quest of Pokemon PC. I did all the
modelling for this game and most of the texture work. I wrote all the code to my engine and
give shout-outs to the guys and girls at Mr.Gamemaker web-boards. Anytime I run into a wall
I could not find a way around, they assisted in showing me the way. I will continue to refine
my engine all-around and my modelling, I plan to become a force in the gamming industry.
There is a lot of crap out there and I know I can do much better....Just give me some time.

Directions:
Run the Pokemon PC from the folder in Start->Programs->Pokemon PC

F1 : Help

Pokedex Commands:
Enter : Display Status of pokemon
R: Release pokemon (Status Screen Only)
T: Transfer to Pokemon PC (Status Screen Only)
L: Make the group Leader (Status Screen Only)
Pokemon PC Commands:
R: Release Highlighted Pokemon
T: Transfer to Active 6 Pokemon , must have spot free
ESC: Exit Pokemon PC

Instructional Overview:
You are Ash Ketchum, your only Pokemon is Pikachu. You set out on your Pokemon adventure
to become the greatest trainer of them all. All kinds of things happen along the way.
Pokemon PC is based partly on the TV series and partly on the Gameboy games. I am creating
a brand new adventure on the pc and will polish it up over time. This is chapter 1 , the
stolen Togepi. Each chapter I will introduce new technology and refined Models,Animations,
FX, music and more... The game is a little rough right now. I will update it as I can.
Press F1 for help with keyboard commands.
Your goal is to rescue the Togepi from whomever stole it. Be carful though, the game plays
different then the gameboy games , monster battles are random in routes and caves.
Capturing pokemon is different also. If you don't have a pokeball on you, then you will not
even be given the chance to have a pokemon join your team. After you defeat a Pokemon,
and If you have a pokeball, then a pokemon may choose to join you. You can accept or decline.
You can only carry 6 pokemon at a time and the rest are sent to the Pokemon PC.
You can send pokemon to the pc at any time by hitting "P" for your pokedex, highlight and
Enter the status of a pokemon and Press "T" to transfer. You can only retrieve pokemon from
a pokemon PC located through out the world. You can only capture a total of 50 Pokemon. Which
is more than the game has at this time.
