Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is a direct sequel to 2001's hit combat simulation game Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis and the expansion pack Operation Flashpoint: Resistance.
This is a triple map pack, a mini campaign. It is a hypothetical prequel to the Dragon Rising campaign. You start off on the tine nameless island to the south of Skira.

NOTES OF SUGGESTION:
- During the 3rd mission, you are inserted to the beach to start your mission.
The insertion is completely preset, however, you can take control of the helicopter at any time if you wish.
I did this for the following reason. Before you touch completely down you will hover a few feet off the beach,
you can exit the helo at any time without harm from small heights, you men can not.
You have to have them exist at the exact moment the helo touches down.
I recommend having the quick command menu open (Q key) and tap the “S” key at the moment of touch down.
You can exit anytime before or after. If you do not get your men to exit, do not worry.
The helo is instructed to return to the small southern island, after landing you can command your men to exit,
then enter the helo, take command, and fly wherever you wish. Be forewarned against AA though. Also, if you
take the guns or sit in the copilot seat you become part of the crew isntead of passengers. Therefore, the
pilot will stop flying and you MUST fly the aircraft from that point. So, if you just want to take a ride, just
sit as a passenger.
- Some of the objectives are not linked to the enemies like they should be. I have no idea why, it doesn't effect the
mission at all.
- Most of the tanks are listed as an objective, but aren't directly linked completing the mission by way of scripting. It's
your job/objective to take out these foes on your own. However, as far as the scripting is concerned, if you want to skip them, you can.
The mission will end when the appropriate number of infantrymen are eliminated.
