You have the task of finding the hidden heir to a throne that sits empty. Tamriel's previous emperor has been slain, and with no true ruler the gates to Oblivion open and demons begin to invade the people and towns of the empire. It's up to you to find the lost heir to the throne and unravel the sinister plot that threatens to destroy all of Tamriel.

Horses are a feature in Oblivion. Pity you can't fight from horseback and they're only meant for travel.

great game...to play with mods
Great game by itself.
You can fight on horse back. You just need Oblivion Script Extender (OBSE)and a combat-while-riding mod. OBSE also supports duel handed fighting among other things.
To bad none of the mods word for the 360 game :( I would love to fight from horse back.
But the game is great anyways, tons of hours of game play. You cant beat that :)
The mod merp supports it the recently uploaded a video about it ;)
This is what we thought good graphics were like? Wow we have come a long way just look at crysis and Red Orchestra 2 and Skyrim and you see a MASIVE difference

if you compared it to morrowind or other games at the time, hell yeah, they were good graphics. hell, everyone thought that super mario world for SNES was good graphics when it came out.
