Hi guys, It's been a rough and busy week. I've realised quite a lot in this week...mostly that I should have made progress before making a page on Indie DB. But so far I've finally managed to rig and animate Naruto and so far I've only got the walking, running, and jump sequences. I should be adding them into the game soon but I'm just taking this project slow. I'm making a punch animation that should be good then I'll have to add in a ninja enemy. He will also have to be rigged and modelled. Soooooo in short I'm going to be busy these next few weeks.
Now onto the jutsu or special abilities. Naruto's Jutsu include the Shadow clone jutsu, Summoning jutsu, Rasengan and the Giant Rasengan at first. The Shadow Clone jutsu is extremely complicated. You will be able to summon 2 shadow clones at first. As you level up the more you can summon. The shadow clones have only 10hp whilst you have 100. You can right click on the shadow clones and a list of functions will appear (the game will pause for a sec). The options are attack, path, jutsu or mimic. Attack mean that they can go in for you and attack the enemy. Path means that you will be able to draw a path in which the clone will follow allowing for quick get always or distractions. Enemies will always go for the shadow clones first. jutsu means that you can assign a jutsu to a particular shadow clone and when he attacks he will attack with that jutsu. Mimic is basically just a follow in which the amount of damage that you can do is doubled. As I said it's extremely complicated
The summoning jutsu will summon a toad depending on the amount of chakra you use. The toad will use an attack. The Rasengan is just a powerful attack that is also capable of breaking through particular objects. (chargeable to the point of giant Rasengan).
The Chakra system is like an energy bar. When your bar gets to 0 you can't recharge unless you wait to get more or you eat food. But that's for another time. Next week I'll discuss the collectables and loot as well as the team mate system.
See ya next time!
