Here is the new TWY national track. The mapping as been change for "darker" and less confusing colors. It was not expected before i began the corrections but the track layout as also change a bit. It is not easy to see but the track is smoother, so it is "easier" to ride. The difficulty level is always "pro".

For those wishing to make a national track, i remind you that you need:
-the rainbo tools availables at: ftp.rainbo.com
-YOU HAVE TO READ the docs carefully to make it work
-a paint program like photoshop that reads and writes 16 and 24 bit TGA files
-3D studio Max release 2 or 2.5 to: 1) apply your displacement map to a 3d grid, edit your mesh for fine adjustements, and write your .asc file 2) apply and render the texture you made in photoshop to have your shadows. Without shadows, the elevation changes on the track would be very difficult to see, which is very bad 3)define the track border, the path that will "follow" the AI riders, make the lap timer active and place the starting grid, all that with the 3DS MAX plugin called trackbastard.dlo. This plugin writes the .txt file that will be converted to .dat .
The price for using this new track is: let me a message and tell me what you think. chr29@hotmail.com
The track records, as far as i know, are 1.00.66 by me, and 1.00.88 by Edge. (on the old version). Those are early lap times, so they will certainly be beaten.
No flames about my english please... remember i am french. thanks.
