I decided in the middle of November to enter the SX contest. I worked alone for a couple of weeks. I played with different jump combinations and stadium configurations. I finally decided on one and then converted the SX track to a displacement map using ASCEdit.

| I decided in the middle of November to enter the SX contest. I |
| worked alone for a couple of weeks. I played with different jump |
| combinations and stadium configurations. I finally decided on one |
| and then converted the SX track to a displacement map using ASCEdit. |
| I roughed up some textures and started to test the track. I am so |
| used to working with others and having other people test and give |
| feedback. I really missed that with this one. Near the end of |
| November Randall (AMA_Pop455) posted a message on the Twisted D.I.R.T. |
| forum that he wasn't going to be entering the contest. |
| |
| I quickly contacted him about having him and Justin (AMA_Kip66) help |
| out with this track. I gave him a copy of it and he agreed to help. |
| We test rode it many times and discussed the jumps and turns. The |
| section from the start to the stepup camel top jump was reworked |
| extensively and the straight with the big quad was reworked A good |
| deal of time was spent reworking the table top following the whoops. |

| This track has probably been tested and tweaked more then any other |
| track that we have been involved with. |
| |
| Around the 4th of December we finalized the track and moved on to the |
| next phase where Kip's Kreations worked their magic. We spent a good |
| deal of time discussing two things. One was how the hay bales should |
| be done and how to make dozer tracks. We figured out a technique that |
| would allow the hay bales to follow the terrain while minimizing the |
| effort to do them. The technique that was settled on is basically |
| the same technique used to make Nationals on hills. |

| Justin came up with the technique to do the dozer tracks. I think |
| they turned out quite well and add a lot to the track. They |
| worked many many hours on the textures. Randall actually did the |
| hard work of actually doing the hay bales and the dozer tracks and |
| perfecting the technique. |

| Justin roughed out the basic textures many times and after trying |
| about 20 we agreed on the ones that we actually used. Justin also did |
| the awesome Sky Cube, the crowds in the stands, and the banners. It |
| is another skycube based on a sky from UnReal. He did an amazing job |
| working it in with the city. |
| |
| We were glad when the date for the submission was moved to Jan 9th. |
| The Kip's were really working hard and trying to finish the textures. |
| It was tough work and they needed the breather. We then took a |
| break over Christmas and this last week was spent tweaking the |
| details. |
| |
| This track is a real team effort with all three of us contributing |
| considerably. I hope the MCM community enjoys this track as much |
| as we have making it. |
