Attack Speed? Thread - Megabyte Punch

I've been toying with this game for a few weeks now, and something that I've been stumped on is the attack speed stat. What does it DO?
I've tried testing if the attacks come out faster.
I've tried testing if the delay between attacks is less.

Unfortunately, the wiki doesn't have any answers either, so maybe someone here knows.

I think it makes your standard kick-punch attacks come in a slightly quicker succession. It's a pretty subtle boost most of the time, but it can be noticeable in close combat with another player who doesn't have the boost.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, after looking for that specifically, I think you're right. If the standard combo wasn't so fast already, I might consider using it. Thanks for your reply.

It's only sort of helpful when playing against another human player, in the solo campaign you definitely don't need it.

Gn0me is correct here. It is indeed more helpful against another human players especially in combination with Attack plus stats.
