Lt., you're crazy af to keep downloading these levels. Because "Medal of Honor: Allied Assault" turns 20 this year, we've a choice mission for you.
Ever heard of the V-3 cannon? Well, the Nazis tried building some of these at the end of 1943 in order to bombard London from the northern coast of France. They failed, and unbeknownst to everyone beside a select few, some RAF bombers took out this facility with help from the French Resistance. We know that Luxembourg was hit in early 1945 by a smaller battery of these cannons installed on Germany's western border.
We live in a brave new world. While our nation is fighting communism, rogue fascist elements persist. One of these belongs to Colonel Kurtz.
Hardlined and nationalist to a fault, Colonel Kurtz has decided for himself he is exceptional to the world and has fenced himself off from civilization (under camouflage netting in northern West Germany, no less). NATO intelligence recently uncovered Colonel Kurtz's plot to bombard England and the mainland United States by firing special fin-stabilized shells high into the stratosphere. Truly ambitious, Kurtz has surrounded himself with his cronies, and will stop at nothing to exalt his own munificence in the form of artillery fire.
So go kick his ass.
