The stage has been set and the tournament is almost ready to start! Mechadroids is a free-to-play Android game where players fight in tongue-in-cheek fast-paced ladder combat. The year is 2177 and sport is dominated by Mechadroids - huge robotic weapons of mass dysfunction! Swarms of foam missiles darken the skies whilst cardboardium armour hangs loosely together with duct tape. The desire of the crowd must be sated! Each player, in control of a customisable Mechadroid, fights their way through friends and foes alike. With hard earnt credits they can use their newly bought weapons and shields to knock the competition aside! Players will be able to keep an eye on their foes whilst targeting exactly what areas of the Mechadroid they want to destroy.

Our 4 month, going on 14 month, Android development project is finally coming to fruition. We’ve really been pushing ourselves hard to get everything wrapped up and in five days time, on the 30th of May, we’ll be releasing Mechadroids onto Google Play!

Our 4 month, going on 14 month, Android development project is finally coming to fruition. We’ve really been pushing ourselves hard to get everything wrapped up and in five days time, on the 30th of May, we’ll be releasing Mechadroids onto Google Play! Epic thanks go out to our community for their testing, feedback and constructive (and not so constructive) criticisms. Also, massive thanks goes to our Artist, Alix Briskham (portfolio here), who has turned Mechadroids from an obfuscated and confusing sprawl of poorly drawn images and icons into a sleek masterpiece of awesomeness (with a lot more improvements and premium content coming very soon).

So, ladies and gentlemen, get your Mechadroid ready.
