An action game based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, borrowing many gameplay mechanics from the Star Wars: Battlefront series. Take arms as one of four classes: scout, soldier, archer or wizard in epic battles across Middle Earth.
Unlock the mode "Assault" on the map Mount Doom. (Also includes Capture the Ring on Weathertop). Take the One Ring from the Witch King and throw it in the flames of Mount Doom or protect the Witch King who bears the One Ring until the assault ends. This mode looks like it was abandoned by the developers. Works only on the map Mount Doom.

1. Soo you basically figured out how to edit some files? I am pretty interesting since I make games myself. I suppose you did some hex-edit on the level_info.dat file?
2. Does it cause verification problems in multiplayer?

1.Yes, I've tried to understand what does each byte or 4 bytes by modifying each one of them. It was simply done with an hex editor (FlexHEX). Yes, the modifications were only made on the level_info.dat file.
2.No, I've tried to play it with someone online and it worked. It's already implemented in the game, I just managed to make the mod show up, that's it.
I am not really experienced in this kind of stuff, to be honest I'm starting from scratch.
I would have liked to see things getting done on Conquest, like mods and more... But it seems that we'll have to wait. ^^
Interesting, indeed. On the modifcation front, there is a way to extract the package files and get access to the textures. Soo only texture mods (and this) right now.
Is it the same address where you are supposed to edit the gamemodes then? I was thinking if it now is possible to do more combinations.
So you know how to mod Conquest. Maybe you can be of some help....
I want to make the tutorial level playable in Instant Action, without the tutorial bits, of course.

I have tried a couple of months ago to make this level work in Instant Action. Unfortunately, with what I could do, it didn't worked. I feel like it would need huge modifications of the files but it's unreadable for most of the parts.
Since the tutorial map is made for one player and has scripts, it will be hard to make it work automatically without the the original dev tools.
Annatar13 EggHead98. However, I am pretty interested in remaking the LOTRC gameplay in Unreal Engine 4. It would be good because the online system is trash. But I am busy with my own game right now.

This game. It was so disappointing. It's original parent, BFII, is 2 billion times better.
