I am still reworking most of the art, previous artist graciously released all of the previous art work for use again. Added much needed UI buttons.

The game look and feel overall is completely different, I went back to my original tiles I was using for prototyping (public domain, Opengameart.org) and reworked some of them, added some new stuff and completely replaced most of the old resource types and groundtiles, I really like the look and feel a little better, much brighter.

I spend some time adding UI buttons to the bottom of the action bar to access Inventory, Crafting, Skills Screen, and the Main Menu, it really helps with the playability of the game.

I don't have any screenshots or GIF's to show it but I have been working on spell particle animations and hope to have something to show here within the next few days, I am going to make buff's and heals be AOE (hopefully) for friendly mobs.

Here is how the game is looking with mostly new assets:

In game

I am getting better at pixel art, I am still not amazing by any means but I am following tutorials learning the tricks, animation is way hard but I am getting better!

Here is my player sprite (32x32):

And here is the animation in game (before the slime tried to jump me)

My good friend Jimi has offered to help me out with the project by producing some of the game sounds to help get the ball rolling (I am horrible with sounds) so I look forward to having sounds for all the different harvesting types and actions in the game sooner or later!

Concerning the previous artist:

He contacted me and offered to allow me to still keep all of the art that was made for this game and apologized (which was not needed), but I am finding myself having a great deal of fun learning pixel art so I am going to actively continue to replace everything so that I can have it match what I envisioned, I don’t have any ill will towards him and no one else should, he is a great artist and deserves to be recognized for his work I hope he can find a project that can match what he is looking for!
