LeapDrive Online is social exploration game. The player controls a ship that explores a region of space called "The Maelstrom." The Maelstrom is composed of thousands of "Cells" that are connected to adjacent cells through "Portals." This network forms an elaborate maze that the community must explore to find a path to the core.<br> When you find a "Beacon" your ship's leap drive can lock onto it's signature and new trips can begin from that point further in the Maelstrom. As you venture deeper into the Maelstrom you will face more challenging enemies. LeapDrive Online has a rich and deep research and ship construction system that lets you vastly improve and specialize your ship.<br> LeapDrive Online also has a number of tools to share and follow paths and an "economy of information" that rewards sharing. Will you go it alone, share information with a small set of friends, or try to gain as much as you can from sharing valuable routes? The choice is yours.
