In the flash world of Half Life 2, the events that have taken place during the Black Mesa incident are happening again. Buried in the side of a mountain near City 17, Lab 17 scientists have been conducting experiments similar to those of the Black Mesa scientists. Like the horrible event that took place after the Black Mesa incident, experiments have gone horribly wrong. A portal has opened up, pouring headcrabs into Lab 17. As scientist after scientist falls to the headcrabs, a rumor spreads among the remaining Lab 17 personnel that the dreaded headcrab king and queen has passed through the portal as well. Believing that they have no chance to survive, the last of the scientists of Lab 17 release their test subjects, mutated, laser ball shooting beetles. Biologically enchanced, these creatures are the last hope of Lab 17...

A few words from me about the game and how it will be developed.

Hello everyone! Lab 17: Flash is now under development! This is my
first game, so don't say that I did a horrible job when I release the
beta of part 1. Part 1's beta will end after you kill one of the many
headcrab queens, which spawns little headcrabs that only go to the
left.... Remember, Part 1 is only a beta and anything you see on there
IS NOT FINAL. The animations will suck, but I will make them better in the future.
Also, I am the only person working on this flash game, so don't expect
updates every day or week. I will update the game at least once every
week. Wish me luck!
