This is the version without HD---In the normal following version, all you have to do is install patch 1.05 and drag/copy the mod files into the Knights of Honor folder.
You need to run the mod as an administrator for the program to work properly.

The position of power has been removed for the player. The AI continues to use the position of power to acquire additional gold revenue. There are no satisfaction scores for the position of power for the player and for the AI.
In the difficulty file, the player or AI does not receive any additional gold. Player's unable to recruit knights. But if you want to recruit other knights, then you do that: By double-clicking on a free seat in the Royal Court, it is possible to recruit other knights. The player founds his royal court only through the nobles of his royal family. The AI can still recruit knights. A marshal costs the AI 10000 gold to recruit. (If the player reduces this value in the mod, the AI will use more marshals.)
The maintenance costs of the marshals are the same as the original game.
The 10000 gold limit prevents the AI of a small kingdom from recruiting too many marshals. A large kingdom has many marshals and a small kingdom has few marshals. The uprisings in the land correspond to the original game and are intended to plunder the land in order to lower the player's gold values.
The player doesn't have to worry about spies attacking his kingdom because the royal court consists only of princes. There is one exception: if the king marries a princess from another country, spies can attack the royal court.
An attack on a fortified city can only be carried out by siege. The siege results look very good. A siege does not always end until the complete end of the food of the city or the aggressor.
On the subject of siege. The AI does not always come to the aid of the besieged city, but waits for the siege and then attacks the player's weakened troops after the successful siege. A developed city with all fortifications is difficult to conquer. This requires some skills of the marshal and/or good troops.
The levels of difficulty:
Normal = Hard from the original Knights of Honor but without additional gold revenue for the AI
Hard = Normal from my mods but without additional gold revenue for the AI
Heroic = Hard from my mods but without additional gold revenue for the AI
My recommendation: Play at the Hard level.
This mod is very suitable for storytelling.
