A: Yes.
Q: One of the castle guards mentions that there is a more powerful sword attack. What is he talking about?
A: If you hold down the sword button, your character will eventually begin flashing. If you let go of the sword button while flashing, you will do an attack that is 1.5x your normal damage. The drawback is that it is much harder to use your shield while holding down on the sword button.
Q: The Captain in the castle mentions that you can jump to places that you are familiar with by using the map. What is he talking about?
A: Every time you defeat the boss of a dungeon, you will then see a marker on the world map at the dungeon's entrance. If you tap that marker, you will be able to jump to that location. There are also a few other locations you can jump to simply by having been to that location before, such as the town of Fell.
Q: How do I know what a new item I find does?
A: If you tap that item while your inventory is open, you will see a description of that item at the top of the inventory. For some items, you will likely need to experiment with in order to learn how best to use them. Luckily you can use all items as many times as you want, with the exception of Magic Potions, Bombs, and Arrows.
Q: I tapped the action button for an item twice, but the action only occurs once. What is happening?
A: All items have a cool down, meaning that when you use them, you cannot use them again for a specific amount of time. You will see that the action button indicates the cool down's progress after you tap it. More powerful items have longer cool down times.
Q: Why doesn't the game pause when I enter inventory?
A: We found that allowing players to pause while in inventory had the unwanted side effect of players constantly going into inventory and switching items during battles, which detracted from the game play experience. You can however still pause by hitting the exit button, or going to the map screen.
Q: Can two people refer each other to the game to get the Grappling Hook?
A: No, sorry. Referring a player implies that that player has not played the game before. If two people try to refer each other, whoever refers first will get the Grappling Hook, and the other person will need to find someone new to refer.
Q: What happens if I forget to save my progress?
A: Progress is saved automatically as you enter each new room.
Q: Where do I start if I die and continue?
A: Whenever you enter or leave a dungeon, your location is saved. When you die and continue, you will begin again at that location.
Q: How do I know where off-screen enemies are?
A: Off-screen enemies' locations are indicated on the edge of the screen with small blue markers.
Q: It says the doors have locked, and I cannot leave the room. What do I do?
A: Many rooms within dungeons cannot be escaped without first defeating all enemies in the room.
Q: I die too quickly. What do I do?
A: Be sure to check pots and other containers for hearts as you explore a dungeon. Keep your shield equipped, and learn to use it. If all else fails, buy a Magic Potion in order to heal yourself while in a dungeon. Just be sure to save up money for Bombs and Bow and Arrows as well, because you will eventually need them.
Q: How do I buy items at the shop?
A: Face the item you want to buy, then press any action button.
Q: What are the rules on referrals for the Grappling Hook?
A: The referral rules are currently, you cannot refer yourself, and a player can only be referred once.
Q: I have referred someone, but still have not received my Grappling Hook. What's the deal?
A: After someone enters your referral code, you will receive the Grappling Hook the next time you enter the "tips" screen, which appears when you load the game. You can force this screen at any time by entering and leaving the Grappling Hook screen. You will also need to be online for it to work.
Q: I do not know where to go next. What do I do?
A: Go to the castle where your journey began, and talk to your father. He will guide you on where to go next if you ever get lost.
