Journal is a sketchily drawn adventure game currently in development. It is a 2D platform/adventure hybrid video game that will be released initially for Windows and XBOX Indie Games. The game is about childhood exploration and an exploration of childhood. You control young girl reliving episodes from her life as she wrote about them in her journal. Each memory is a tale of childhood sadness and is played out how you choose to remember it.
I've not talked much about Journal in some time. Sadly the reason behind this is that the girl who was doing all the art and working with me on the script found she just didn't have to time work on this. As so much of the game came from her I didn't feel like just replacing her and carrying on.
Instead for now I've put the project on indefinite hold. I have moved on to working a new game called KAIRO instead which is also listed on this site.
I'd love to come back to Journal at some point and if after KAIRO is finished I can find an artist whom I can work with on it then you may see this page become active once again.

If you have anything, like an alpha build of Journal, would you mind uploading it? After years of watching I really wanted to experience this game.
