If you thought that the ITO Zero Environment Combat Suit would forever be one size fits all, well think again! :) We've internally started iterating on tons of various Interstellar Marines customization options, which will allow us all to personalize our preferred outfit within the standards of the ITO Special Forces.
These designs are getting kinda close to ODSTs. I mean I like the new organic flow, but the helmets themselves are kinda getting into that beveled 45 degree angle Halo territory. Not saying it's a bad thing, but there is quite a bit of it out there already if you know what I mean.
You could also claim that the original helmet design was close to the armor in Hunter Prey, or the Space Marines in Warhammer. But who's counting, right?
There are tons of options for helmet design. Some are more reasonable than others, and those get used much more often. Keep up the good work IM team. :)
I guess the main thing for me is that the body itself is pretty sleek and compact. That in combination with the style of helmet, I can't help but think of Halo. Idk, I really think they should maybe stick with the molded plastic paintball mask look they had going and further expand on it. It did look quite unique for a game like this.
I like these designs, lots of good avenues to travel down there, but yeah, it is getting a little Halo-esque in style, might be good to avoid that, but if you can add something to it to make yours more unique? Then go for it. Looking good either way.
They seem to look a bit Halo-esque like talon said.
Basesuit makes me think of the spacesuits worn in Gundam 00 but with awesome armor upgrade options.
Looking all modular and such.
I actually really like the shape on the lower left corner. If you guys could do more with that idea...
I mean it's not the most practical thing, but it's very interesting.
