Near final concept iteration of the Meikyu 2.1 "Rhino" Tactical Shotgun, shown here with Effective Range Scope and without buttstock. "I like to keep this handy... for close encounters!"
would love to see a model of this...
You will. :)
The magazine actually defeats the purpose of the pump action, since on a regular model shotgun, the tube that the pump runs along is where the cartridges are held. A springloaded magazine would make the pump action redundant because all the pump does is feed the next cartridge in line into the chamber. The only reason its necessary in the first place is because the shotgun is solid and does not run on a slide like a handgun, which it appears as if this weapon does.
You are right but we don't know what they are thinking to do with this weapon, maybe the pump action is for a grenade attachment.
I would agree with you if it didn't look awesome.
way to awesome to be the first gun :3
Nice guys its awesomeness in a can!
This may explain some possibilities World.guns.ru for a pump with box mag. Or this one World.guns.ru and a number of others, it's not that unusual really.
both of the weapons in those links are solid weapons, this shotgun appears to be on a slide like a handgun, which absolutely makes a pump redundant since the entire purpose of a slide is to eject a spent casing and hook a new round and chamber it.
I have to agree with you on this one, doesn't make a lot of sense to me either... Looks cool though, even if it is a little generic ;)
koodus to you guys
tryn 2 resist urge of humpn the screen :P
Reminds me of Thompson! Sweet!
This gun looks VERY similar to the sawn-off version of the Chinese Hawk Semi-Auto Shotgun.
