Hello everyone!
I am Dmitry and I am working on the Infection Mode game at 1 year. It is my first project on Unity and in overall this one is my first game ever. Now I want show you the overall information regarding the game because previously I did't share this one.
This is a zombie shooter. It is not simplify shooting range. Currently game consist of 4 main game modes. Let's see below:
1. ESCAPE mode - In this case a Player should perform several task for completing a level. For example: On some stage a Player should find a accumulator for radio to call the help. When this one is done, helicopter will come during a minute and level will be completed.
2. DEFENCE mode - It is simple defence. Level consist of block-objects. Player should protect each block, before helicopter is come.
3. SURVIVAL mode - In this case a Player should survive during 5 minutes. You can see in the top left corner a timer how much time you are alive.
4. RUN mode - last one mode where a Player should run to the escape point. Block-points will block on the way. Player should destroy them by using his weapon.
If a Player has completed stage all scores will be awarded. In another case, when a Player died only 0.2 of total scores will be awarded.
On scores the Player can buy a weapon or any special amunition (grenade, anti-dot).
In the game included automated upgrade system. For example if you kill 1000 zombies by pistol, this one will be upgraded and the pistol will have higher damage. Or if you have used medkit 100 times, player health will be improved.
Game has 16 weapons. There are pistols, rifles and heavy weapons.
Game consist of 18 stages. Currently 14 are done and 4 is left. I hope during two weeks I will finish the map making.
In the game presented 4 zombie classes: simple, big, radioactive, speedy. Simple zombie just can hit the player. Big zombie will be exploded when this one has touched a player or the player kills him. Radioactive zombie can throw a green ball. It is very dangerous zombie, but in the game is included slow motion, so, I hope it will be easy to prevent radioactive attack. Speedy zombie has very fast speed. This one can kill the player by one hit, but the zombie has very small HP.
