My navigation system is working with excellent performance and navigation data is only updated where it is edited by the player adding or removing relevant foreground and props tiles. NPC paths also only recalculate if required (another video coming for that). So overall my navigation system is very performant and faster than the inbuilt Unity navmesh, which lags the game everytime it is rebuilt. HBTR is going to become more of a base building / colony sim game with this major improvement.
