GOTHIC 2 is awesome, polish much of things than the first have. The gameplay now is more comfortable. Too bad than later appears GOTHIC 3 and everything go the sewer for all.
Gothic 2, with its expansion Night of the Raven, is one of the best Action Roleplaying games ever made. It greatly improves on the framework of the first Gothic, while expanding and pushing the engine to its limit. The game is immersive, challenging and rewarding. Dark Souls might be the series that made the 3rd person ARPG mainstream, but it was the Gothic series that founded it.
