We have added contextual Health Bars and an object lifting and object throwing mechanic.

We have added contextual Health Bars that briefly show above gang members heads when they are hit (blows received when the bar is showing will force the bar to show for longer) making it possible to identify weaker enemies and prioritise attacking them.

We have also added a lifting modifier to grab mechanism to allow gang members to perform basic object lifting and throwing (gang members can be objects).

We have made some adjustments (demonstrated in the video) to improve gameplay, specifically we have increased the level of boss health and temporarily removed the enemy avoidance script (which made hurt enemies run from you).

We plan to make an improved version of the avoidance system to manage the AI of weakened or injured enemies, making them attempt to limp or crawl towards members of the same gang (or other places of relative safety).

We have also added a longer revised version of the 'Gang Beasts' theme.

The controls are non-standard to support individual control of the left and right hands.

We have been testing with wired Xbox controllers (and sometime PS3 controllers), currently the inputs are:

Move - Left Analogue Stick
Jump - A
Left Punch - Left Bumper
Right Punch -Right Bumper

Grabbing / holding is a long press of the punch buttons (left for left, right for right), we plan to add a 'Use' button ('A') for kicking floored enemies and environmental interactions (e.g. climbing fences, pressing buttons etc.) and a 'duck' button ('B') for avoiding enemy punches and for improvised shoulder throws, duck can also be used to make platforms for others to climb on e.g. to gain access to high levels or climbing on the back of larger bosses etc.

We also plan to add a 'Taunt / Party' button ('Y') for interacting with enemies or fist bumping / hi-fiving friends.

Controls can be remapped but we find the scheme we have is the most immediate and comfortable scheme that allows control of each arm individually.

It will be possible to play with keyboard input but this would lose the precision of the analogue stick.

Ok I have got the pre-alpha for PC and plugged in my Xbox controller and it lit up on the left side. But, it doesn't do ANYTHING and it barely works on keyboard. So, if you could tell me how to fix this then THANK YOU!!

You can press the 'Tab' key in game to map the input to your keyboard or Xbox 360 controller.
