'Fulmination' is an upcoming missile defence game from the creator of Eight Days in Convoke and the second game by SwanActive Games.
Inspired by cold war era technology and conflicts including the Cuban Missile crisis, 'Fulmination' places the player in the role of the sole protector of an unknown soviet state. Tasked with the defense of your homeland from an onslaught of US missiles, you must enter coordinates into the 1980’s era radar terminal in order to intercept and destroy enemy missiles, SAM placements, bombing runs and experimental weapons.
Against a foe with superior technology and numbers, 'Fulmination' will test your precision and speed in a bid to protect your home.
In homage to the one year anniversary of the first Eight Days in Convoke pre-release, The full version of 8DIC will be available for FREE from Friday night until late Sunday night (dependant on region) this weekend. It's hard to believe it's already been a year but here we are!
I think Eight Days in Convoke will always be important to me, perhaps because of the amount I learnt programming it, or the fact it was by first commercially released game, either way, I might be done with Eight Days in Convoke, but I think there will be more of the noire-spacecraft in the future.
In the mean time, visit the Eight Days in Convoke page between the 8th and 10th to claim your free copy of the game.

Any updates?
Although progress on both Fulmination and Eight Days in Convoke has slowed down considerably in the last few months, An update is in the works for both titles. 8DIC will get it's extra levels and Fulmination will get it's campaign. Sorry for the delayed reply. Thanks for showing an interest in my project!
Is there a way I can use the period key instead of the comma? My main cause of death is not being able to hit the comma and get my fingers back into position on the num pad.
I love the game by the way. I haven't bought it yet though. It's a bit frustrating for me because it takes a good 5 seconds to hit the comma key and get back to the numpad. I have some nerve damage in my hand, and it can't move quickly or accurately.
Is it the period key on the keypad you would like the option of using?
The period on the numpad would be great, the one between the "0" and "Enter" key,
I actually bought the game a few minutes after I posted those comments. I like the maps, and I look forward to the campaign! Btw, what are the "rules" of Crisis mode? I played it, and it seemed like those yellow squares pop up more often, but I'm not sure.
I'll release an update in the next few hours that will add (.) support for the coordinates.
The rules of crisis mode basically increase the rate of the game and add a multiplier to the scores. I believe everything happens around 1.7x times the speed but it varies between units.
Sweet, Thanks! I really appreciate it!
So that's why crisis mode seemed harder. :p
Your copy of the game should now notify you of the update (a2.0.1). "," and "." can now be used interchangeably.
Thanks! My average time increased by 5 minutes! :D
