Do you
think achievements would be a cool addition, or an anoying distraction? I could
always make them only be for off the track things like, lets say your on Roswell
Bridge during the story mode, you are supposed to be running away, towards the
north end, killing enemies, and so on, trying not to die. Would it be a big deal
if there was an achievement for lets say, going off the beaten path and doing
something like finding a hidden item, or easter egg, or something thats not
noticible unless your looking for achievements to earn? Or lets say theres a
certain locked door, and you find a way in to the building other then the door.
Is that achievement worthy? I was thinking of putting one in for when you break
into the military weapons cache. Because thats an action not required to advance
the story, so it would not matter, or ruin the story with pop ups, because if
you are there then your either fooling around, exploring, or trying to find
achievements or guns. So i was going to put the achievements in places far away
from any story mile stones, to make them less intrusive for those who just want
to beat the game, and enjoy the story, but for those more casual players, and
the achievement lovers, i wanted to add an extra kick to your free roaming time,
with not only goals to do, but achievements to earn, and new skills to unlock.
Before you head out and start up with the story again. How does that sound to
you guys? Let me know, so i can get back to work. And if you guys want
achievements, just know that there is already a list of at least 7.
