Farmyard Madness is a 2D platform-genre game for Windows PCs. The objective of the game is to rescue all of the lost animals scattered throughout each level whilst avoiding all sorts of baddies and level obstacles that are designed to get in your way. There are a total of 100 levels split up into 6 acts; Woodland Forest, Icy Mountain, Cloud Top, Boogie Swamp, Misty Meadow and The Meat Factory. In each act comes new challenges, baddies and a different animal that needs rescuing. There are also secret areas/Easter eggs, bonus levels, unlockable items/abilities, a secret level and even a mini-game too! At the end of each act you face a boss battle that offers a different style of gameplay (with the last two boss levels being parodies (of sorts) of two game franchises that I’ve enjoyed throughout my early childhood).
