FAITH is a pixel horror game inspired by the era of MS-DOS, Apple II, Atari, and ZX Spectrum classics.
On September 21, 1986, two priests arrived at the Martin Family home in rural Connecticut to investigate an apparent case of demonic possession. Only two people would leave the house alive.
Haunted by nightmares and searching for answers, a young priest travels down a dark highway to return to the cursed house a year later.
Forget blue-and-pink neon. The 1980s were scary. No Internet, nobody could call you if you weren’t home, and the U.S. was engrossed in the “Satanic Scare” which fueled widespread paranoia about devil-worshiping, witchcraft, and occult practices.
FAITH takes about 1 to 2 hours to complete 100%.
This game was tested on Windows 7 and Windows 10. If you run into bugs or compatibility issues, please contact Airdorf at the email address found in the readme.

FAITH will be featured at its first games conference! Woohoo! FAITH has made the official selection at Fantastic Arcade, a celebration of indie and cult videogames. The festival will run 25-28 October in Austin, Texas.
FAITH will be available to play throughout the festival at the Museum of Human Achievement at a special spooky-game-themed show. Arrangements are also being made to transport a CUSTOM ARCADE CABINET of FAITH to the actual arcade portion of the festival.
If you're interested in checking the festival out, know that the arcade and museum venues are free and open to the public! There are also talks, panels, and game tournaments at Fantastic Arcade which require a paid badge.

Really cool game so far, I'm loving the atmosphere!! However, there's something that's just peeving me quite a bit. I'm right at the beginning, walking all around the woods to try and collect all the lore, yet I keep dying as a result of Michael being able to spawn from anywhere. It's just super frustrating to collect 3 or 4 bits of lore, then have to start right back at the shed because he spawned at the edge of the screen and killed me. While it definitely ups the horror factor, it also makes it feel a bit like a game of chance as opposed to skill, yknow? What could make it better would be either 1-2 more save points in the woods, making it so that Michael wont spawn so close to you, or making it so that the crucifix doesnt have to be pointing right at him (lost count of how many deaths i got bc of accidentally facing the wrong direction when Michael was there). I dunno, maybe I'm just a noob who needs to git gud. Either way, absolutely digging the game and I cant wait to actually make progress in it instead of just dying :P

really cool, hasn't been a game that felt me this uneasy in years. An ending guide might be nice on the website? I can't seem to get 3 or 4.
