Ugh... really?

I mean, what is she wearing? I'm all for female protagonists and all, but this character design is just wrong: she should look like an action heroine, not a post-apocalyptic stripper. :/

your right, I think she should wear more body armour. I'm ok with some latex visible underneath armour though... More merc than stripper.

True, her outfit is ridiculous, wouldn't protect her from anything and looks mostly like it's designed to show skin and cleavage.

I thought that by now the video game industry would have moved past that, but evidently we're still stuck in the days when women are just there for men to look at?

What happened to "we know our rights and would never release something we don't know we have the rights to!". That was (in my own words) the bold statement when Mass Destruction was still coming out with Duke Nukem. Bombshell can be a support character, but as a heroine she will be tough to sell. I know I don't want her.

As much as I want to support Interceptor, I think they disappointed more people than just me by caving in to Gearbox (again). Oh also: **** Gearbox! Seriously, how many games are they gonna bring down without offering anything of their own!

It's not a matter of caving, Gearbox apparently owns the rights to Duke now. There's been so much hype for so long about this, in my opinion they can just forget it. I'm a little tired of the practice of putting female protagonists in about 4 square inches of costume. I'm as hetero as the next guy, but this is a bit silly. Why bother wearing armored shoulder pads with a leather bra, short shorts and stripper boots? Too silly, no thanks.

I agree, they made the Half Life DLC which was nothing short of incredible. And the Borderlands games were fantastic too. What happened?

Wasn't Duke going to have a chick partner named Bombshell in the 1998 variant of Duke Nukem Forever?

Yup, they even had a video released with parts where Duke would catch sight of her now and again. Even then, they had her in clothing that made a bit of sense. Don't know if she was going to be a playable character or not. Moot point as we know what happened to Duke Nukem Forever, should have been left as vaporware.

Well I can Clearly see they made this character in less than 2 days. Cause Gearbox said they were not allowed to make duke in a game so a lawsuit happened so to avert the lawsuit they changed the character to this crappy character that should of appeared in Duke Nukem Forever but gearbox scrapped 90% of 3D realms original ideas and just said they made the same game but they scrapped Bombshell AKA Female Duke Nukem. Therese a huge difference from the duke trailer in 2001 which looked awesome then the crap we got instead.

Honestly if Interceptor and 3dRealms should make a duke game it should be the Duke Nukem Reloaded cause I thought 3dRealms owns the original Duke Nukem 3D so doesn't that mean that 3DRealms can make a HD version of there own game.

...What is this living nightmare?

I mean what kind of new **** this is? Is that supposed to be hot or something? Her hair looks ridiculous and her armor really does not protect her from ANYTHING.
