Dragons VS Shooterboy is a game about dodging super hot fireballs while shooting evil dragons in the face! It has arcade style gameplay, inspired mainly by Megaman Battle Network (the movement and basic gameplay) and Monster Hunter (for the difficulty!), although it is quite different than those titles! It's just about mindlessly shooting either (unless you want to, but them you may not survive for long), you need to time your attacks to shoot out big energy shots and you need to be quite skillful to stay alive, since you only have 3 hearts!

I have received feedback from various fonts and I’m now trying to use that input to make the game better! Main complaints were:

  • Sound effects are annoying
  • The GUI doesn't look polished
  • Current font is hard to read
  • Score system is not intuitive

We have solved most of those problems in the latest update to the game! What's new:

  • Changed score system to something more intuitive and rewarding
  • Switched from hearts to HP value
  • Now displays difficulty at mission selection
  • Reworked speed values
  • GUI revamped

Pretty interesting. I'm assuming you're going to bring this to mobile, right? If so the difficulty may be a bit too hard for it and you might need to scale it back a bit. :)

Yes, yes I am and you are so right. But I actually also would love to release a desktop version, do you think it would work out?
