This Delta Force: Xtreme demo includes both a single player and a multiplayer
level. The single player level is called 'Flood' and puts gamers through their
paces in the high mountains of Peru. In this level players have to fight to
take control of a remote airstrip which is currently under the control of a
drug lord. The multiplayer map is a snow based map with drivable vehicles. The
game type supported is Team King of the Hill.

Voice and Radio

Team communication during the game can be enhanced by using both the
voice emotes and radio macros.
Voice

Press the F9 key to see a list of voice emotes for your character.
Then press the number key for the emote you want your game character
to say. Other players standing near your player will hear the
emote you pick.
Radio

Press the F10 key to see a list of radio messages. Then press the number
key for the message you want your character to speak into his radio.
Everybody on your team will hear you on their radio.

Grenade Cycle

All 3 grenade types (fragmentation, flashbang, and smoke) are all now
set to the same key. Pressing the Grenade button (defaults to the 4
key) will bring up the first available grenade. Once grenades are
equipped, pressing the Grenade key again will cycle to the next
available grenade type.
Friendly Tags
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Friendly Tags are the names which appear on the HUD above a teammate's
head to identify them. There are four settings available for Friendly
Tags which can be cycled by pressing the Friendly Tags key (which
defaults to the F key.) Here is a list of the Friendly Tags settings
and what they do:
- On - The teammate's full name will appear above their heads.
- All Brief - Instead of a name, only a line will appear over a
teammate's head.
- Off - Nothing will appear on the HUD to identify teammates.
- Mouse Over - A teammate's name will only appear over their head when
your gun is pointing directly at them.

Checking for Updates

There are two ways to check for updates. In the Start Menu, select
"Update Game" from the Delta Force: Xtreme folder. You can also select
the "Update" option in the game's main menu.

Windows XP ALT+TAB Issue
When running Delta Force: Xtreme under Windows XP, you may experience
problems task switching (i.e. using ALT+TAB).
Before calling Technical Support make sure you have installed the
latest drivers for your video card.
StickyKeys
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Shift StickyKeys Activation
In most current versions of Windows, pressing the Shift key five times
in a row will switch out of the program to display a StickyKeys
activation message.
To deactivate StickyKeys, either bring up the activation window and
press Settings or go to the Accessability Options menu and press the
Settings button in the StickyKeys section. In this window, uncheck
the Use Shortcut button. This will allow you to press Shift in rapid
succession without activating StickyKeys.
