When we first embarked on Deity, our motivations were simple: create something different, something fun. We had no idea how big this game would grow or how the public would respond to it, but we worked tirelessly on the project with the hopes that people would enjoy the experience we were building.
Now, two months into the release of Deity, the game has received overwhelmingly positive reception and the team is humbled by your support. We've read every single comment/review you've given the game and watched every Let's Play video we could find! As such, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of you -- you've inspired us more than we could have imagined.
I suppose many of you may be wondering what's in store for Deity and the team involved, so I'll briefly describe what we've been up to.
Recently, we've lost two of our team members to the shadowy demon known as graduation. They've moved on to seek jobs in the industry and we wish them all the best in their future endeavors. The remaining bunch of us are scrambling to do the same, working on new, small scale things before we're done with school later this year, while trying to avoid unemployment for too long after graduation. Sadly, due to our hectic and crazy schedules, we won't be able to work on porting, remaking or adding new content for Deity for at least the next couple of months.
But believe us when we say that this isn't the end for the project. Given the opportunity, we would love to produce a full-fledged version of Deity and we're hoping to achieve that goal sometime in the future.
Whatever happens, we'll be sure to post updates on our website, Facebook, Twitter and right here on Desura, so make sure you've bookmarked/liked/followed/watched us!
Thanks for all the support!

After making a game this fun I hope that all of you go on to great things!
