First Impact In 2070, the earth is hit by a series of meteorites. In the following years, governments collapse and a global civil war takes place which ultimately plunges mankind into the rule of an unscrupulous corporation. This rule ends with the second impact and the awakening of the primal. Second Impact Everything mankind tries to stop the primal fails. Inexorably, the fungus assimilates the flore and faun of earth. It seems to pursue only one goal: eradicate humanity. Years after the awakening of the Primal, humanity is still fighting for its survival in former Africa. The distorted and degenerate remnants of mankind remain unbroken in place, defying the Primal. Today Devided as always, humanity is divided into two main camps: the Dominion and the LoTek tribes. Both sides have very different views on what society should look like in this new, fractured world and both sides are ready to fight for their beliefs.
