CUBED is a top-down bullethell shooter, developed by Octasphere Studios. The main focuses in CUBED is fast gameplay, simple graphics, fancy colors and lights, awesome music, awesome boss battles, etc. How will CUBED be an awesome game? Restarts has to be fast: Sitting around for a game to restart or listening to characters repeat them selves is NOT fun! Press one button = Instant restart! - Nobody telling you how to play: The levels will be deisnged in a way, where new encounters will go easy on you the first time, so you have time to learn about them, and then later they will show you what they really can do! No cheaty gameplay: You should never feel that the game cheated you in some way, and always feel that if you die, it was you who did something wrong. - Rare upgrades: Upgrades (which you pickup) will be rare, so you feel rewarded each time! - Bosses will be tough, but fair, and give you A LOT of points. Every boss will be different.

Description

WARNING! This video does NOT represent the final product!

Soundtrack by THE AMAZING Jayhawk ( Soundcloud.com ) and THE ALSO AMAZING SuperRobeKitty ( Soundcloud.com ) (edited shorter by Schultz (Sorry guys))

The purpose of this video, is to show what we currently have in the game, and to show a bit of level concepts.
CUBED has had a heavy focus on programming for most of the time, which means that the gameplay you see in this teaser, is quite accurate to how the final product will play.
The levels on the other hand, are only concepts.

"The video was confusing. What were these levels suppose to be?" The grey one is a concept for being on a space platform, the blinky one is a concept for a "disco level" and the dark one is.. You guessed it! A concept for a complete dark level!

"I didn't see any of the epic bosses?"
They will get their own teaser ;-)
