Made by meh, Yams. Just a low poly MP7A1 with extendable stock, foldable grip, corresponding moving safeties, and working sights. ENJOY!
got it down to 1000 poly WITH hands.
the psp can only hold around 700 and less dude
no, I can run 2000 poly on the kurok engine,without lag, but to run better(ram)all my final guns 900-950 poly
ok i dont think you get it XD....
IF you have alot of enimeys on screen and you map is big and there are alot of action it will cause a lag no matter the count.... but to keep it from lag you make the guns 600-800 then make ur hands around 200 and you should be fine :) also i hope your player models are bellow 900 or you wll cause alot of lag in the game lol :)
Lookin around in these old pictures, just for future reference, I dont think you get it lol, not only would 200 tris hands be very hard to make(and actually look like hands), but kurok had v models around 2000 tris (under for some, but still), and there wasn't a problem. Now I know the whole lower the better deal, and I've even had a few temporary models that were 1250 tris for v models, and they dont "lag", the game doesn't "lag" from that unless you go over kill with everything. Our weapons are around 950 with hands, and we keep it around 60 max for the animations total, and have no problem at all ingame, even with 950 tris monsters running around. I have a test map with many monsters on it, all in action, around 700-900 tris each, and there is no problem.
This is incredibly late I know, but just for anyone who look back on this and voted me down at the time- the lower is better, but I've come to learn my limitations on the psp and know what I am talking about.
@Trey
Hands at 200 polys would be extremely hard... Even Solitudes Hands are 300+ polys.
you are commenting to a year old post :P, but yea, solitude's models were around 800-900 tris for weapons and hands
