Bushido: Legend of the Samurai is a Multiplayer Melee Combat game set during during the turbulent feudal period of medieval Japan.
To further experiment with our new tools - I constructed our second Naginata. Even the 'Clan Mons' on this can be changed in seconds!

Cheers Paul! That's not a bad idea, I'm working on polishing up one of each weapon 'type' so we have something really solid when testing our animations.

They vary greatly in length.
This ones design and scale is based off of one from the the Ann and Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Collection. I highly recommend the book 'Art of Armour', to those interested in high quality photography of authentic items from this collection.
We plan on having at least 3 of each weapon type, this being the second, they will all vary in length.
might have been asked before: are you going to make changes in the fighting mechanics, and if so what are those?
Absolutely! However, I can't go into it much at the moment as we're currently in the stages of prototyping a few gameplay ideas - but be sure to track us as we'll have news on this soon!
Question. If Bushido is going standalone, then how will the fighting work? How will it differ from Chivalry, because surely it is against copyright laws to copy game mechanics? If it's a mod, that's one thing, but...? Forgive me, I'm a young chap and I have not been educated in the ways of copyright.
