Guidelines for threads Thread - Boring Man

Welcome to The Server Boys, starring Adam Sandler.

Please make sure you provide plenty of info for your server to players if you want them to play. Here are some suggestions:

Server Name: people will recognize it on the list

Password: if you want to keep it to this forum for whatever reason (Tip: PM passwords to people only you like!)

Game Modes: Pretty obvious. Whether you cycle through game modes, or run one game mode 24/7, let your players know.

Maps: At the time I'm writing this post, map lists and a change map command have not been implemented yet. So let your players know if you will stay on one map, or will actively change them yourself.

Mutators: Whether your trying to make your server realistic, or just the craziest shit this side of town, this info is pretty crucial because palyers don't know what mutators are enabled from the server list (yet).

Bots: Also crucial info. Some people love the bots, others hate them. Let them know if they are just used as filler or balancing, how many there are and what their difficulty is set to.

IP Address: While it's better to register to the server list, it's not always up. Or maybe you don't want to register the server list! Either way, if the server list is not used, players can still connect to you directly by using your IP address.
