Set five years after the events of Borderlands, Handsome Jack, the game's main antagonist, has taken over the Hyperion corporation, has declared himself Dictator of Pandora, and stolen all of the credit for finding the Vault, going so far to claim responsibility for killing the Destroyer. Jack has also blotted out much of the light on the planet by having a giant orbiting H-shaped base set in front of Pandora's stationary moon. The new team in Borderlands 2 is tasked with killing Jack and returning peace to Pandora.

In general a good shooter with plenty of loot, interesting enemies, comedic tone few other games achieve, visual style of its own, and tons of guns. However, nothing's perfect.

The gun-play is good but nothing amazing. The way enemies are turned into bullet sponges during coop is plain lazy design on the developer's part. The way loot drops is absolutely terrible in coop so if nobody loves you and you for some reason want to play with randoms plan to race for loot.

There's plenty of extra dynamics and depth they could have added to this game but when you get down to it, this game feels like a mostly blank canvas with hints of a masterpiece scattered across it.

Simply, I lost interest after 36 hours a couple months ago. Humor alone can't justify playing a game that goes on for this long.
