Blackbox is a mobile game about breaking boundaries and thinking outside the box both literally and figuratively. An ever-expanding collection of 68 individual puzzles, each with their own minimalistic animations, visuals, and mechanics. The puzzles (represented by little square “lights” that need to be turned on) use everything from basic device sensors to inputs and controls never before seen in games. Blackbox has gotten players dancing and yelling, driving up mountains, flying to other continents, submerging devices, and attaching them to weather balloons all in the name of solving challenges. Nothing is too far fetched.
Blackbox is designed and developed by Ryan McLeod and is under active development with new level packs, easter eggs, and content released regularly. With nearly 1.5M downloads and over 26,500 five-star reviews Blackbox continues to see a quiet but growing cult-following that often compares the game to other easter-egg studded delights such as The Room, Monument Valley, and The Witness.

Blackbox is a creative and clever puzzle game where you solve puzzles using your iPhone's hardware. There are no finger swipes — understand your hardware and use it to find the solutions through creative tinkering.
The controls involve using all of your phone's features, rather than depending on boring finger swipes on the screen. It's innovative and awesome, to say the least.
