Attractio is an indie first-person puzzle game developed with the GC Engine (GameCoder Studios' in-house engine) where the player has to solve challenging puzzles manipulating gravity. These puzzles challenge the usual way of thinking about physics and gravity. In Attractio each object has its own gravity direction which can be changed by the player.

I experience a crash upon starting the game, right after the Gamecoder splash screen. No error is thrown whatsoever, the game simply terminates.

This issue appears to have something to do with my computer's graphics processor; the crash occurs only when I run on the (default, apparently) integrated graphics. After examining my nVidia settings, I realized that it had defaulted to integrated graphics, which is my computer's low-power system for non-intensive tasks. I switched it to the nVidia card and it started properly.

The most important problem is of course the game crash, but Attractio should also default to using the graphics card, rather than the integrated GPU.

For reference, here are my computer specs:
Dell XPS L502X
8GB RAM
Dual graphics - Intel Integrated and nVidia GForce 540M
Intel i7 2.4GHz/3.5GHz quad-core processor (one core has factory overclocking)
Windows 7

Hi! Thanks for the feedback.
Do you know which Intel integrated graphics have your computer?

Also Attractio creates some logs in C:\Users\Your_user\AppData\Roaming\AttractioEarlyAccess\profile\logs, likely the error is there. If it's not too much trouble, can you send us that folder to contact@gamecoderstudios.com ?

Thanks!

My processor (i7-2760QM) has Intel HD Graphics 3000.

I'll email you those log files.
