Put the "@VopSound_ACE_1.19" folder into your ArmA directory, create shortcut with ArmA.exe,
type in the new shortcuts target line:
"C:\Program Files\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\arma.exe" -nomap -nosplash -mod=@ACE;@vopsound_ACE_1.19
Launch your ArmA with new shortcut. Enjoy.

As the name says, this version includes a config file for an ACE sound replacement.
Just put your desired vopsound_c.pbo into the @VopSound_ACE_1.18.

Some effects that were not heard in the ACE
- no sounds of RPG hitting the armor
sounds of motorcycles are too loud
sounds are very different from the ACE, so you will have to get used to them from scratch

Hmmm... Chammys is for Arma-2, not Arma-1 as expected(((
But HiFi can be found in WarMod inventory.
nop, Chammys sound mod have 2 versions for Armed Assault (ArmA1).
Well at least I have two versions, the first and the second version that Chammy released.
