Yes, I made it!
The ugly move of over-planning... As a part time indie game developer I had to realize that my scope is just way too big, so I stopped the development of my dream game. Yes, that's one of the biggest mistakes made by developers. It doesn't matter how many and how big project I was able to carry out with my teams in the business area as a solution architect... I made the same mistake.
I will definitely come back to this project because it's just the game I'd like to play in the future and well, I'm not so far from make it happen. It's just far enough to give it up now, not one or two years later when I will had too much effort in it.
Fun fact that the MMO part is done, it's only the "game" that is missing.
In the future I'd like to advocate time to smaller strategy, casual and language learning games.
