So I re did the SCAR-L for the PC version. Mainly to add more detail and at the same time reduce polygons. The model is 2,237 polygons which isn't so bad. Enjoy!
I think there's more polys you can remove with normal maps but 2,237 is more than low enough for today's standards.
Most importantly it is looking quite good.
yeah, I remove most my polygons when I'm UV mapping because it's a pain selecting all those faces and keeping track, so I remove the unnecessary ones. Currently down to 2000 poly's and I'm only 25% done UV mapping.
