PureArts Ltd and Peak Pixel Games are proud to announce the reveal of our first jointly developed game called “AlexG Infinity”. It is an innovative mix of a vertical shoot-’em-up and infinite runner where you are shrunken down to the size of an ant and must survive the insect world. The gameplay mixes up elements from Galaga, Radiant Silvergun, Jetpack Joyride, and Monster Dash.
You play as AlexG, a boy who has been shrunken down by King Goo, an evil alien who has crash landed on Earth. King Goo has mind-controlled all the bugs in the house and has ordered them to pursue and eliminate AlexG. You must help AlexG and his allies shoot, bomb, run, dodge and stomp their way through the hordes of bugs that are chasing them in an attempt to survive. The bugs are not the only danger that you have to watch out for, as the house is filled with hazardous obstacles that will need to be avoided as well. You should collect as many coins and power-ups as possible while racing through the house; as upgrading character abilities will be essential in defeating the ever-evolving bug hordes that you will encounter. Go head-to-head with the legendary bug boss that guards each room of the house and show them that man isn’t to trifled with… even in miniature size!
As a hybrid shmup and runner, the gameplay features are:
- Run, shoot, dodge, and bomb your way through over 40 types of bugs and dangerous household objects.
- 7 different player characters to choose from, each possessing a unique gameplay style.
- Grab power-up’s such as coin attracting magnets, protective shields, and shot level-up cookies that drop from random bugs
- Upgrade character statistics by collecting coins scattered throughout the house.
- Enter lightspeed mode by defeating bosses, which then allows you to stomp and squish bugs under your feet.
- Avoid the bugs chasing from behind by paying attention to the warning signs.
- Procedurally generated rooms and bug challenges that dynamically increase in difficulty.
- Randomly generated daily quests and mini-games that grant various rewards.
- Handcrafted 2D animations blended together in a 3D generated world.
