OMDF Reserve VF-402 #205/ Spare Sq. #14 Skin addon - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

This is a random unit, or what we call "杂兵" in Chinese for those random combatants that can be easily killed by the main characters in Mecha Anime&Manga, that I made for myself, so don't expect anything colorful. But for me, those random units are what makes an military force, thus I don't mind to have some of those, instead of just Trigger or other elite livery on all the aircraft.

Original Twitter Post: "F-14D SH205 "Spare 14". Originally OMDF Reserve Sq. VF-402, the idle pilot Daniel "Tasman" Lee and his rather hot blooded RIO Alex "Axewell" Bourdain had an accident after the beginning of Lighthouse War and got tossed into 444.

Wanted to do an OC 444 livery, and Tomcat seemed to be the only one that's not in as canon. Then I got the idea of this idle young man in naval reserve unit, and so there's elements from VF-124/201/202/301/302. Both are from OMDF family and so got out before Faceless Soilder."

For the accident, I am thinking about something like they scanned a VIP AC returning from Yuktobania with FC Radar by miscommunication, caused some panics and chaff&flares launch. Then the strict CAG decided to give them a lesson due to Tasman's idleness, without knowing that they will have to sortie in 444 and those decoy sorties & Mihaly encounter. Tasman tried to cover up for his RIO, but ended up both sent to the penal unit. Thanks to their families with OMDF background, they were able to leave before Operation Flush and stay in Comberth base, helping OADF 75th EFS (my another OC unit) until the war ends.

The two generally adapt to 444 better than Avril, at least still eat quite a lot when they can (High Roller says "dinner's on me" in Mission 9 so I guess they can buy food for themselves). Bourdain (yes, a homage to Anthony Bourdain, my favorite travel documentarian, also my self-considered spiritual mentor) still encourages Lee that they can survive before sorties, since the pilot doesn't really care where he is.
