F-2A Campaign Conversion - Skin 2 (High Vis) addon - Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown

Please note - If you wish to use the Campaign Pack textures for slots 4, 5 and 6, it is *highly* recommended to also install the MREC compatability pak that will move the Plain Erusean textures from Slot 2 into Slot 1.
An additional optional pak is included that will make the plain Osean texture available in slot 2, allowing these skins to basically just be swapped in position if you want, but not interfering if you have already (or will want to in the future) replace slot 2 with some other livery.

Using "F-2A Skin 2 into Skin 1 MREC Compat_P.pak" (or "F-2A S2 Erusea 501 Skin 1_P.pak") will maximise MREC Accuracy, as Mage, Spare and Strider all use the same MREC texture as Skin1/Osea.
If you replace just skins 4, 5, 6, without also replacing skin 1, you may see minor visual errors on those 3 aircraft.

Hopefully in the future, when the process of using instance files to allow ALL texture slots to use a unqiue MREC, becomes more automated, this archive can be updated in a far more streamlined manner.For now, my compromise to offer you more flexibilty in what you want to use, or not, is to provide a large variety of pak files.

All of these pak files use the "_P" suffix as a precaution. Although it is not currently required for this to be part of the file name as of September 2019, if Project Aces update the base F-2A external textures in a future DLC or update, the "_P" will become required.
Future proofing!

This download is large and the number of files might seem complex, but I hope the flexibility it offers in picking and choosing what you want to use is worth it.

The archive contains 20 pak files.

• F-2A Skin 1 into Skin 2 MREC Compat_P.pak - This will move the default Osean textures from slot 1 to slot 2 (Erusia)
• F-2A Skin 2 into Skin 1 MREC Compat_P.pak - This will move the default Erusian textures from slot 2 to slot 1 (Osea)
  
  
• F-2A S2_Mage Skin 4_P.pak
  F-2A S2_Spare Skin 5_P.pak
  F-2A S2_Strider Skin 6_P.pak - These will replace the respective liveries
  
  
• F-2A S2_Mage Alt Skin 4_P.pak
• F-2A S2_Strider Alt Skin 6_P.pak - These will replace the respective liveries with alternative versions that feature Mage and Strider squadron emblems, instead of the Trigger fox emblem.
• F-2A S2 Erusea 501 Skin 1_P.pak - This file can be used as an alternative to F-2A Skin 2 into Skin 1 MREC Compat_P.pak
  F-2A S2 Erusea 501 Skin 2_P.pak
  F-2A S2 Erusea 501 Skin 3_P.pak - These will replace the respctive liveries with a version of the Erusean skin with Erusean roundels and a nose number.
  
  
• There are also an additional 10 pak files that will allow you to place any of the Mage, Spare, Strider skins, including the squadron emblem versions, into slots 2 or 3. These versions include their own MREC files, and so if you use these versions instead, you will not need to use the MREC Compat.paks

Installation:

1. Navigate to the Ace Combat 7 installation directory and go to Game\Content\Paks\~mods (If the "~mods" folder does not exist, create it.)
2. Paste the desired .pak file(s) into the "~mods" folder.
3. Launch the game and select the skin that the installed .pak has replaced.

If you are unsure where Ace Combat 7 is installed, go into your Steam library and Right Click on Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown
Select Properties
In the window that should pop up within Steam, click the "Local Files" tab at the top
Click the "Browse Local Files" button
