3089 is a futuristic, procedurally generated, open-world action role-playing game. All terrain, enemies, weapons, items, quests & more are uniquely generated. You are a promising robotic android design, made by the Overlord, placed on planet Xax. Your performance in common combat, support & intel scenarios is being closely watched. However, will you become too much for them to handle? What else on planet Xax exists that the Overlord doesn’t know about?

1: A buy back option in stores. One moment of inattention and I lost a really really good energy launcher. >_<

2: I know this may sound a little petty, but if you could arrange
for items in stores to spawn in a more organized way that would be amazing. :)
Would just stream line store time thus make the amount of time I spend in a store less,
and the amount of time I spend playing more. :)

3: I get it, you are looking for more variable stats, but having "Stealth 1.xxx" is a little much,
it tends to mean I spend a lot of time looking at the stats just to make sure I have the best
part, never feeling like I got the best part, and not actually playing the game. :)
I'd limit it to "Stealth 1.x" maybe "Stealth 1.xx"
Some of this problem may be solved with suggestion 4.

4: A direct comparison window, I put the curse over a part/item and window
pops up side by side with the appropriate held item. Like they do in Borderlands.
Again I want to play the game, not spend an hours in the store. :)

5: You may want to raise the carry capacity of things like the grappling hook etc
Or make what spawns in stores related to how much skill points the player has earned.
I spawned in a very very mountainy area and the hook is almost a necessity for getting around
that I can not use because I have a really high end helmet that I bought early on. D:

6: Give use a bank attached to the backup point.
A nice early on bank would be very helpful. If I am not mistaken there is a way to build a
storage something but have yet to figure out how yet.

7: There have been a few times I have been in a house and killed in a meteor shower this is most annoying,
and if there is a fix for it then it is a must fix.

8: Crafting, ok rarity should be taken into account when combining parts as well as level.
IE if you have a rarity of like 90 something it should add like a +4 to what levels it can be combined with.
Take the digit in the tens slot divide it by say 2 rounded down and apply it to the item level for combination purposes. :)
Or something along those lines. :)

And lastly this game has immense potential to be a life eater. :3
I started playing around yesterday around when I posted how I
fixed the crashing, and looked up and it was some 6 hours later. XD
So yeah good game guv, keep up the good work. *does a little happy dance* :D

I forgot to suggest that comparison feature you wrote about - it's a must have.
Or at least an icon over an item showing that it's better than what you have equipped - but it would be more complex to code or even design, since it's not so easy to say which is better than which (a part that has better damage and range than another one that gives lots of stats bonuses, how do you define "better" in this case? lots of ways to implement but méh).

The comparison window is just better :)

I don't think so; I figure you just have it run like so.
If an item in your held bar contains component X display that item.
If an item in your held bar shares a component of an item display both items.

I am making item descriptions only show 1.x in the next version, not 1.xxx -- good suggestion!

Comparisons are very difficult... what item are you comparing to? You could have multiple copies of the same part with minor variations to compare something to... I think adding more numbers and symbols will only make things more confusing to the inventory screens...

Thank you, it is one of those little annoyance I keep talking about. And I think I would start with 1.xx and if it still persists and annoyance, then drop it to 1.x :)

I would say the simplest way to do it in this instance since there are so many parts would be on the part's stat box just add in a check box that when checked would lock that part's stat box to open. Again I hope that made sense... :)

IE if I have part "A" I check the box and part "A"'s stat box is locked open (And moveable) so that when I look at part "B" I can quickly and easily see the difference between the two parts. :)

Even simpler:

While holding part A with the mouse, and hovering over part B, the stats of part B would show up in a small window on the left and the stats of part A would show in a larger window on the right. If a stat is higher than the other weapon, it is shown in green, if it is lower, in red.

Or, you could have an "inspection slot" in the inventory, an item or weapon put there would always have it's stat window open. Use the mouse to open the stat window of another item in the shop/inventory to compare.

To be extra helpful, upon picking up item A / putting it in an inspection square, only parts from the same weapon within 1-2 levels would be highlighted in the inventory and shop inventory.
