When I first started up this game, I felt as if I was in a whole new world with an active war going on all the time everywhere which really helped to make the game great for me. The constant threat from the meteor strikes really reminded me of S.T.A.L.K.E.R (one of my most favorite game series) which added a touch more atmosphere in the game and increased my feeling of immersion. While laying the game I was constantly reminded of RedFaction 1 (One of my most favorite games) and, because of this, I feel the game ha so much more potential for future updates.

Questing Overhaul:
The current quest system the game has right now is very good as it is almost reminiscent of Borderlands with the whole message board thing. I feel that the whole system could improve if you have a way of communicating with NPCs to get more unique/harder/complex tasks, kind of like in the Fallout series and if there are only one or two quest boxes per faction base and not randomly in houses in the wilderness.

NPC Overhaul:
The NPCs currently lack a lot of depth depth at the moment which, you could argue, is because they don't any emotions like the player does but if they where to act like they where in a military situation, there would be planned strikes against enemy strongholds and have forward bases in the wilderness that would be actively be being fought over. They could give quests like scouting out enemy bases to locate entrances or involving the player in strikes on the forward bases or even entire compounds. Another addition would be a communication system with a chat box (which again is like fallout) where you could ask them to join you on your travels, trade, fast travel you to near friendly compounds (a bit like in S.T.A.L.K.E.R) or even get some game tip of of them via dialogue.

Vehicle Overhaul:
Again, the current vehicle system is superb with the flying vehicles but why not add carrier ships to take your companions with you across great distances (almost like in Planetside 2) or to go on stronghold takeovers and invasions of enemy bases with lots of NPCs in these. Helicopters could be good for the ability to stay still and barrage packs of enemies with a hail of bullets. Small one-man buggies to get about the wasteland in. Heavy tanks to defend strongholds with, Jeep like vehilces with a turret on top to drive around your companions while they shoot the enemies or vice verse.

Base and Buildings overhaul:
Make the strongholds more organised with turrets along the walls and patrols circling the perimeter or even an HQ with a base commander that would ask you to join in on defense missions, raids and takeovers.

Base Takeovers:
With a flagpole (kind of like in the battlefield games) where you would capture bases by taking down the enemy's coloured flag and replacing it with your own one.
