nice! my favorite of the shields. why you ask? its because it looks even better when they break off a piece. 1 or 2 of the planks on 1 side.

i have a big dumb question did that age have tower shields like the Rome army? i only ask because its usually shield design for individuals not army formations.

dont get me wrong i will probably have a round shield on my back with a big *** hammer as the main weapon. hide behind other players and come from the back and hit them hard with a heavy *** hammer on them. crap i just sayed my attack plan strategy.

u speekem teh gud englash! XD I'd have this with a short sword or a hand axe in melee short bow for ranged. Float like a butterfly sting like a beaver... wait that's not right :P

Tower shields where in the age in one form or another, there was also the Pavise.

Also every Shield/weapon has it's weakness, this shield is light and mobile but weak and small not suited for Cavalry because it will not cover the legs.

Here is a small round shield that is cheap and most likely very common, it is light, but not very big nor strong.
