Voice Actor/Writer Available for Work Thread

I'm a 16 year old with a mid-ranged voice who is willing to do some voice work and some writing.

I am a proficient speaker, part of my school's debate team, have past experience in recording work (musical sick tape, animated video), and have a passion for it. I write regularly for my school publications as well for my own pleasure.

Here is an introduction to a mod I am currently working on in collaboration with another guy:

Me wrote: War is a series of causes and effects.

Cause: The lack of understanding of the unknown.

Effect: The birth of religion.

Cause: Religious Fervor.

Effect: The Crusades, The Inquisition, and the spread of monotheistic relgion.

Cause: Absolute power and the abuse of "Divine Right".

Effect: The French Revolution, The Russian Revolution... and the birth of Democracy. The Industrial Revolution and the Colonial

Era followed soon after.

Cause: Laissez-Faire Capatalism, and Imperialism, the likes of Napoleon, the great German and Ottoman empires.

Effect: The First World War, the Finnish Civil War, the machine gun and the tank, mustard gas, chlorine, phosgene ... and the

birth of Communism. The Cultural Revolution, the Cuban Revolution and the creation of the Soviet Union followed.

Cause: Fascism. Hitler, on 1939, invades Poland in an attempt to restore Germany to its former glory.

Effect: World War 2. Advancements in mathematics, in diplomacy, in medical care, in mobilization of economies, and Atomic

Energy.

Cause: The end of World War 2 fines two great allies seperate in beliefs. The United States and the Soviet Union turn on each

other and begin to slug out the Coldest War ever known to man. These superpowers, knowing the risks of a full scale assault,

discretely battled in proxies, funding wars between loose allies in order to have the upper hand, like two snipers hunting one

another down conscripting the environment around them as protection. Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Libya. Always the limbs, never

the heart.

The decades after Mr. Gorbachev tore down that wall were now measured in degrees of peace instead of degrees of war. But the

effects of the causes still remained, and as both the United States and Russia struggle to sever the connections with their

past, economic turmoil began to follow.

In the year 2012, two economic recessions and another great depression due to wars and investments in those wars in the form of

PMCs and military spending, would let the people suffer no longer. There were no longer crimes, simply acts of terrorism

against the state. Communications were closely monitored as antiterrorist bill after antiterrorist bill was passed.

2013: The clock struck midnight, and the world was fractured. It was a digital dark age. The Wealth Gap was as wide as ever.

Miniature city states formed as the political idealist became the centralist, the right wing the liberal. And, at this time,

hoping that war would recover the economy, NATO declared war on Russia.

The bombs flew, and contrary to what was initially believed, the world was still left standing even though the watches stopped.

Ground was ripped apart but irrationally beliefs were simply made stronger. The fighting continued, desprately, hoplessly.

But the fighting continued.

The year is 2027. A devestating Russian counterattack has left the remanants of NATO in Europe in pieces. America has become a

promised land once again as rumours of a Dunkirk-like evacuation movement circulate on underground channels. You are a soldier,

battered physically and emotionally, a fraction of what you once were.

But you are a soldier.

And you will fight.

what accent do you have?

None.

Well, a variety. American + British + Canadian + Slangy Tri-State is best comparison.

Give me an accent and a day and I'll give it a go.

Hmm, i like the look of this. Seems good like a good essay - one or two spelling errors, or slight grammatical errors, but eh, we all make 'em.

I'm in the process of sorting out my new Team's forums, and I'll post a link in regards to it shortly.
