Uploaded file authorisation problem | Locked | |

Hi there! Approximately 3 days ago I uploaded archive with modding tools to the site. Even then, there was a note for my SDK that the file was waiting for authorization. Nothing has changed since then. I don't quite understand if something else is required of me or the whole process depends on owners of the portal. I ask for help in clarifying and solving the problem with prolonged authorization for the file. Thanks in advance! |

-In menu for schedule release press on "Release file Immediately", and save that. Or call "feillyne", via pm. |

Unfortunately, I don't understand what menu you're talking about. I spent few time carefully examining interface of the site, but unfortunately I did not find anything similar. In file editing menu, I also did not find anything that could relate to 'schedule release'. Should I contact 'feillyne' directly or am I missing something? |

Thank you all for your help, the file has been authorized. About 'schedule release' - I don't really have this item. (I tested it on 2 browsers - the result is the same.) |

Files should always be "linked" to (added to) at least one game or engine (only if it is purely engine-dev-related, not necessarily related to a game made with that engine) or mod page and never groups alone (especially devteams/companies): MechCommander game profile in this case. Hmm, not quite sure why you cannot see that option, newcomers' contribution permissions are restricted but you do not seem to have registered recently. Maybe it is because you are not part of that dev group (or not contributed enough to the site for the system to automatically give you release scheduling rights)? |

I don't know how important what I'm going to say now, since the current communication is offtopic (The problem has already been solved, thanks again to everyone.) I am a member of that dev group; other groups (where I am not a member) and game pages show the same file upload interface. The only time I've found 'release schedule' is in 'files' link in header of the site. (https://www.moddb.com/downloads) Maybe it's just a bug. Or I really do not have some rights. I don't know. |

You are not a member of that dev group (here's the proof: Media.moddb.com). SpinelDusk wrote: You should be able to add/link files to game profiles (even multiple pages if they are relevant) at the bottom of the submission form: |

Hmm, really. For some reason I thought that I got membership in the group. My fault. |
