Talented writers needed Thread

Hey folks,

I'm currently at the pre-production of a mod called 'Mindworld', it's going to be a sci-fi FPS/Action Adventure set in the current world. However, most of the action is going to bet set in a surreal dreamworld. There are planned a lot of various puzzles and events that mostly build up on illusions.

The project is needing writers, no specific number set, as I am going to work with what I get and try to always get out the best of every idea that I'm given.
Here is a very basic story layout that I've worked out in a couple of hours, so you can get a rough idea where I'm aiming at:

"Katherine Evans, a 22 year old psychology student, experiences bullying and sexual harassment during her daily life at the university. She is introverted and therefor an easy aim for other students to mock her. In the past, Katherine had a very happy childhood, but the death of her closest friend Jack, who died in the war that is currently going on, still haunts her. Since the incident, psychology is her favorite interest and almost every minute is spent on it for research. A cheap apartment is where she lives and she doesn't tidy up her room at all, a sign of a troubled mind. Katherine lives in total isolation, doesn't wear a wrist watch, only owns hoodies and has almost always her headphones on to listen to music to escape in her own worlds by oppressing problems of daily life. But, nightmares still haunt her down every night and she starts to get interested in the surreal worlds while being asleep. More and more time is invested each day for sleeping and new experiences and techniques to stay dreaming longer are learned. When Katherine finally learns a technique about lucid dreaming, the journey into her mind has just begun..."

Main Character:

- Name: Katherine Evans
- 22 years old
- Living in a messed up apartment
- Does not tidy up her room
- Had a very happy childhood
- Lives now totally isolated from her family and daily life
- Oppressing problems of daily life by listening to music
- Is very interested in the field of psychology (social interaction and social dynamics)
- Her best friend Jack died in a war 3 years ago that is still going on
- Has got a tattoo on her left forearm
- Wears three rings on the left hand and 2 rings on the right hand plus addtional necklaces, every single item has a connection to an experience with Jack
- Wears hoodies only and listens to music every second she can
- Long, blond hair and dark blue eyes
- Never wears a wrist watch; often late due to that manner

The field that you're going to work in depends on the number of writers in the team and your experience in writing and your talent. And with talent I mean being open to new things, always curious about what you do and practice a lot.
